Antique saxony-style large spinning wheel. Beautifully painted in “John Deere” colours. Production Wheel – fast spinner! Screw tension and single treadle. Includes one bobbin. More bobbins can be made. Size: 20″ long, 41″ wide, 40″ high. Wheel diameter is 25″ Orifice is small and located about 27″ from floor.

“1875” is written in gold lettering on the side of the wheel but cannot confirm this as the actual age of the wheel. The flyer has been replaced to ensure a fully operational wheel. Original flyer (as suppied when obtained) with its four bobbins is included but these will not fit the current flyer.

Wheel has been refurbished and is a lovely, fast (if a bit noisy) spinner. Beautiful decor wheel as well as being fully functional.
